Patrick J. Halpin created Patrick J. Halpin, P.A. with a focus on serving its clients with integrity and a commitment to excellence, to achieve their needs and goals.


Mr. Halpin is a native of Tampa, Florida and has been practicing in the Tampa Bay area for over 33 years. After receiving Honors in the Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy classes in law school, Patrick was selected to serve as a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Research & Writing and Appellate Advocacy Teaching Fellowship Program. In his final year of law school, Mr. Halpin was elected Chairman of the Moot Court Board and subsequently voted its Outstanding Member during his tenure.


Mr. Halpin began his career as a judicial law clerk for two appellate judges and then transitioned to private practice with a primary focus in general commercial litigation. Approximately 30 years ago, Mr. Halpin began specializing in transactional real estate and real estate-related litigation, together with probate, elder law and the full service representation of financial institutions.


In 2007 Mr. Halpin became certified by the Florida Bar as a Board Certified Real Estate Lawyer, a designation attained by less than five percent of all Florida lawyers. Certification is the Florida Bar’s highest level of evaluation of the competency and experience of lawyers and recognizes Mr. Halpin’s special knowledge, expertise and proficiency in the field of Real Estate, along with his reputation for integrity and professionalism. 


Married to his wife Patti since 1994, they have been active members of several churches in St. Petersburg over the past 20 years. Aside from studying theology and philosophy, Patrick loves to read, exercise and cheer on the Florida Gators.
